HIRING PROCESS

The following hiring process for BMW typically takes 1-2 weeks to complete. Job offers are contingent upon acceptable results of the steps listed below:
  1. Contact from MAU Staffing Specialist
  2. Screening/Initial Assessment
  3. Job Skills Assessment
  4. Provide Proof of Education
  5. Background check
  6. Drug screen, Hearing & Vision tests, and Physical

After acceptable results are received, qualified candidates are called to complete the pre-employment processes and paperwork, once a position is available.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL/RESCHEDULE MY ASSESSMENT?

Assessments require a 24-hr cancellation/reschedule notice. You are only allowed to reschedule or cancel 2 assessments. Missing/rescheduling 2 consecutive assessments will result in having to wait 6 months before being able to schedule another assessment. If you are unable to make your appointment please contact the MAU office at (864)272-3110.

WHAT ARE THE ASSESSMENTS?

Depending on the position you have applied for, you will have to complete a written test and automated production simulator or forklift qualification course.

WHAT SHIFTS ARE AVAILABLE?

Day Shift (A Shift):
Start time range: between 6:45am – 7:30am
End time range: between 5:25pm – 7:30pm
 
Night Shift (B Shift):
Start time range: between 7:00pm – 8:00pm
End time range: between 6:40am – 7:30am

HOW DO I GET MY PHYSICAL RESULTS?

Physical results typically take an average of 2-4 weeks to process. The office contacts applicants through phone or letter by mail to update the applicants. If you do not receive your results, please call the MAU branch at (864) 272-3110.
