Aiken County has opened a regional Community Shelter in North Augusta for Aiken, Edgefield, and North Augusta residents if needed.

The Salvation Army is actively responding to the impacts of Hurricane Helene which caused widespread damage across the southeastern United States. Salvation Army mobile feeding units (in partnership with Southern Baptist Disaster Relief kitchens) are providing free meals and drinks.
